Terms of Service

We've tried to keep these terms clear and readable. The short version: Recruit Rocket gives you tools to hire better. You make the decisions. We provide the platform. If something isn't clear, just get in touch.

1. Who we are

Recruit Rocket is a technology platform designed to help employers find, attract, and hire great people. We provide tools including AI-assisted job description creation, job posting management, candidate screening, and recruitment workflow tools.

Recruit Rocket is operated by Global Career and Talent Development Ltd (company number 16936930), a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered address is 1 Queen’s Park Road, Handbridge, Chester, Cheshire, CH4 7AD. You can reach us at [email protected].

One thing to be clear about from the start: Recruit Rocket is a technology platform, not a recruitment agency. We don’t act as your recruiter, we don’t source candidates on your behalf, and we don’t make hiring decisions. That’s all you.

2. These terms — what they cover and who they apply to

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you and Recruit Rocket when you use our website and platform. By creating an account or using the service, you’re agreeing to these Terms.

These Terms apply to employers and recruiters who use the platform to post jobs, manage applications, and hire candidates. If you’re a candidate applying for jobs through Recruit Rocket, a separate Candidate Privacy Notice applies to you.

If you’re signing up on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have the authority to do so, and the business will be bound by these Terms.

3. Your account

To use Recruit Rocket you’ll need to create an account. Here’s what we ask:

  • Give us accurate information when you sign up — and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your login credentials secure. Don’t share your account with others.
  • You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you think it’s been compromised, let us know straight away.
  • One account per organisation, unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.

We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that provide false information or that we believe are being misused.

4. What you can use the platform for

The platform is provided for legitimate recruitment purposes — posting genuine job vacancies, managing applications from real candidates, and using our tools to improve your hiring process.

You must not use Recruit Rocket to:

  • Post job ads that are discriminatory, misleading, or illegal under UK law (including the Equality Act 2010).
  • Post roles that don’t exist, are already filled, or are being used solely to collect candidate data.
  • Scrape, copy, or harvest candidate data beyond what’s needed for your recruitment.
  • Attempt to access, hack, or disrupt the platform or its underlying systems.
  • Upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
  • Use Recruit Rocket to facilitate any activity that’s unlawful or harmful.

We reserve the right to remove any content that breaches these rules, and to suspend or terminate accounts where misuse is suspected.

5. AI-generated content

Some features of Recruit Rocket use artificial intelligence to help you draft job descriptions and other recruitment content. This is designed to save you time — but it’s a starting point, not a finished product.

AI-generated content is a drafting aid. It must be reviewed and approved by a human before you publish or use it. You are responsible for what goes out under your name.

Recruit Rocket doesn’t guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, legally compliant, or suitable for your specific role or organisation. It may occasionally produce wording that’s imprecise or needs adjustment.

In particular, you should check that any AI-generated job description doesn’t inadvertently include language that could be considered discriminatory (for example, wording that discourages applicants from certain groups). That responsibility sits with you as the employer.

6. Your responsibilities as an employer

Recruit Rocket gives you the tools. You make the decisions. That distinction matters — legally and practically.

As an employer using the platform, you are solely responsible for:

  • All recruitment decisions, including who you invite to interview and who you hire.
  • Ensuring your job postings comply with UK employment and equality law.
  • Reviewing and approving all job descriptions before they go live, including any AI-generated content.
  • Assessing candidates fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
  • Any communications you have with candidates through or outside the platform.

Recruit Rocket is not liable for recruitment decisions made through the platform, for the outcome of any hire, or for any claims arising from your conduct as an employer.

7. Fees and payments

Recruit Rocket charges a fixed fee per job creation, and job posting (if you use Job Board Blast), payable upfront before your job goes live. The fees cover access to the platform and all associated tools for those tasks — including any AI-assisted features — for as long as the role remains active.

A few things worth knowing:

  • The fee is non-refundable. It covers access to the platform for that role, not a guaranteed outcome. If no hire results from a posting, the fee is still payable.
  • Each job role requires a separate fee. Posting multiple roles means paying for each one individually.
  • We’ll let you know in advance if our pricing changes.

A hire is considered complete when a candidate accepts an offer of employment made by you through or as a result of the Recruit Rocket platform.

This definition matters for record-keeping and, where relevant, any reporting requirements. If you have questions about pricing before you purchase, just get in touch.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep Recruit Rocket running smoothly and reliably. That said, we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free.

We may need to take the platform offline for maintenance, updates, or improvements. Where possible, we’ll give you advance notice of any planned downtime. We’re also reliant on third-party hosting and infrastructure providers, and can’t be responsible for disruptions that are outside our control.

Features may change over time as we improve the platform. We’ll keep you informed of any significant changes.

9. Limitation of liability

We want to be upfront about this, as it’s an important part of the agreement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recruit Rocket will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses — including loss of profits, loss of data, or reputational damage — arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability to you will not exceed the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that can’t lawfully be excluded.

10. Intellectual property

Everything on the Recruit Rocket platform — the software, design, content, and branding — belongs to us (or is licensed to us). You’re welcome to use it for the purpose it’s intended: recruiting.

You may not copy, reproduce, adapt, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission. That includes scraping data, building competing tools using our content, or using our branding without authorisation.

Any content you create or upload to the platform (such as job descriptions, company profiles, or screening questions) remains yours. By uploading it, you give us permission to host and display it as part of providing the service.

11. Data protection and privacy

Recruit Rocket takes data protection seriously. We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR.

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Where you share candidate data with us as part of using the platform, you confirm that you have a lawful basis for doing so and that candidates are aware their data is being processed. You remain the data controller in respect of candidate data you handle through the platform.

12. Termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. Any fees already paid are non-refundable on termination, and any active job postings will be removed.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Breach these Terms.
  • Use the platform in a way that we believe could harm other users, candidates, or Recruit Rocket itself.

Where possible, we’ll give you notice and the opportunity to resolve the issue before taking action. In serious cases, we may act immediately.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, as the platform evolves or to reflect changes in the law. When we do, we’ll notify you in advance and the updated Terms will be published on our website. Continued use of the platform after updated Terms take effect counts as acceptance. If you don’t agree with a change, you can close your account before the new Terms come into force.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Get in touch

If you have any questions about these Terms, or anything else about Recruit Rocket, we’re always happy to help.

Still have a question?

We’d love to hear from you. Get in touch and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
